Inside the tool
Needs Review
The process it was written from changed, so the SOP is flagged.
Generate process update
Meridi AI redrafts the SOP from the current process. Nothing changes until you save.
Compare versions
Every saved version is kept, to compare side by side and restore.
Upstream Changes
What changed in the process, how much it matters and when. Mark each one reviewed.
Request Review
A reviewer approves the SOP or asks for changes. Approval sets it back to Fresh.
Know when an SOP needs attention.
Meridi flags changes to a linked process. The SOP returns to Fresh when someone publishes it, approves it or resolves its last change.
- Fresh
It matches its process as last reviewed.
Someone publishes or approves it, or resolves its last open change.
- Needs Review
Its process changed, or its review is due.
A step’s wording, order or duration, the process description or its sources changed, a reviewer asked for changes, or 90 days passed without an approval.
- Stale
Its process changed in a way that changes the work.
The process owner or a step’s role, tools, checks or decision points changed, something was deleted, or 180 days passed without an approval.
What you can do.
Write it from the process
Start from a verified process when you can. You can also use a document or template. Choose the audience and detail, from a quick reference to a full ISO-style procedure.
Check the gaps
When details are missing, Meridi labels its suggestions for you to confirm. The answers you provide are saved back to the process.
Flagged when the process changes
Edits to the process or its steps move a linked SOP to Needs Review or Stale, depending on what changed, and list each change under Upstream Changes.
Update it on your terms
Ask Meridi AI to redraft the SOP from the current process, compare it with any saved version, and restore a whole version or a single section.
Review, publish and share
Ask a reviewer to approve it or request changes, with the review history kept, then publish. Download it as a PDF with your logo, or the whole set as an SOP book.
Documents and action items alongside
Keep documents with their versions and approvals, and action items with an owner, a due date and the process they belong to.
